Clothing Cottage Mission

The mission of the Clothing Cottage is to serve the residents of the City of Laramie and surrounding areas. We seek donations of articles of clothing for women, men, children, and infants as well as a variety of household items. Clothing Cottage features these items in an attractive and inviting setting. No one is turned away. We fulfill our commitment to provide items of quality, in good condition, for the benefit of all those whose valuable patronage is appreciated.

Pricing of Merchandise

Our merchandise is donated but it is still necessary to cover our operating expenses plus fund outreach programs. Our prices compare favorably to other thrift stores in our area. We also put much work and effort in preparing our items for sale.

Donations

Donations of clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, books, gift-type items, sets of dishes, pots and pans in good shape may be left during store hours. Items left unattended encourage theft or are damaged by the weather. Receipts for tax purposes are avaliable. Donations of plastic or paper bags are welcome. Money donations are also welcome.

Volunteers

Without the help of volunteers, our mission would not be possible. We always appreciate reliable people to help with  customer service, sorting, organizing, preparing visual displays, cleaning and merchandising! Please inquire at the number below.

Introducing the new Clothing Cottage Director

Hi. My name is Rosana “Ro” Barrow. I was born, raised and graduated high school in Laramie, Wy. After high school I moved to Colorado and soon began my career in retail where I had the opportunity to work and travel throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. I recently returned to Laramie with my husband, three children and two dogs. We are enjoying being close to family & friends and are looking forward to all the adventures and beauty this area has to offer.

I am excited and thankful to be a part of the Clothing Cottage family. In the short time I have worked at the Cottage, I have experienced an abundance of gratitude, support and appreciation from our customers, volunteers and staff.

The Cottage has been such an important resource in the community and I look forward to being a part of its growth and success as we continue to navigate through these challenging times. We are working hard to not only continue to provide our services to the Laramie community but to hopefully increase our hours of operation and streamline our donation process. We appreciate the understanding of all our loyal customers, supporters and volunteers who have been so patient and flexible during our transition.
